Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Last updated 26 September 2026.

Who we are

Josan Toner Corporation (“Josan Toner”, “we”, “us”) supplies printers, toner, and related services in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. We also operate JTC SecureTech (CCTV and security systems) and Audio Skill (sound system rental). This policy covers all three, and we are the personal information controller for the data described on this page.

Our office is at 35B Midway, Forest Hill Subdivision, Novaliches, Quezon City, 1117 Metro Manila, Philippines. You can reach us at info@josantoner.com or 09473985505 / 09497366992.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you, fulfil an order, or carry out a service visit. We do not buy personal information from anyone, and we do not collect it from you in the background beyond what is listed under “Automatically collected” below.

Information you give us

  • Placing an order. Your name, mobile number, complete delivery address, printer model, and any note or instruction you add.
  • Requesting a service visit. Your name, mobile number, address, the brand and model of your equipment, a description of the problem, your preferred date, and your email address if you provide one.
  • Asking for a quote or messaging us. Your name, contact number or email address, and whatever you write in your message.
  • Creating a customer account. Your name, email address, contact number, address, and — if you are ordering for a company — your business name.
  • Booking an Audio Skills rental. Your name, contact number, email address, company name if any, event date and times, venue name and address, expected number of guests, setup details, and any requirements you describe.
  • Booking a JTC SecureTech visit or installation. Your name, contact number, email address, company name if any, site address, preferred date and time, and a description of what you need. For installations, we also keep a record of the devices we installed at your site (type, brand, model, serial number, and where each is located). We never record passwords or network credentials for your devices.
  • Confirming a completed delivery or job. Your answers to a few short questions (whether the item arrived in good condition, is working, whether you understood how to use it, and whether you would recommend us), plus any rating or comment you leave.

Automatically collected

  • IP address. When you submit a public form, we record the IP address it came from so we can limit how many submissions one source can make. This exists to stop spam and abusive automated submissions, not to profile you.
  • Stored in your own browser. Your shopping cart contents and a randomly generated device identifier are kept in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
  • When you confirm by QR code. Your IP address, a randomly generated device identifier, and your browser and phone or computer type (for example, “Chrome on Android”). We use these only to check that the confirmation came from you and not from our own staff's device.

Photos taken during a service visit

Our technicians photograph the serial number of each item they deliver or use, and take a photo when they arrive and leave. For some of our own products, they also photograph the serial label on your printer. These photos can show part of your premises. They serve as proof of service and warranty, are stored privately, and are visible only to authorized staff.

Why we use it

  • To fulfil your order or service request. Confirming your order by phone, agreeing a delivery fee and schedule, dispatching a technician, and completing the job.
  • To answer you. Replying to enquiries, quotes, and messages.
  • To keep our records. Maintaining order, service, and warranty history, including the serial number on your warranty seal so we can honour a claim.
  • To verify confirmations and honour free service. Checking that a delivery or job confirmation is genuine, and linking your printer to the products you bought from us, so we can tell whether it qualifies for free service.
  • To protect the service. Rate limiting and spam prevention on public forms.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations. Keeping the records the law requires us to keep.

We do not use your information to send marketing messages unless you have asked us to, and we never sell it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make this website and our operations work, and only to the extent each one needs:

  • Our database and sign-in provider. Hosts our database, stores uploaded service photos, and handles account sign-in.
  • Our web hosting provider. Hosts the server this website runs on.
  • Resend. Sends transactional email, such as the alert to our team when an order comes in.
  • Semaphore. Sends SMS confirmations for scheduled service jobs.
  • Google Maps. Embeds the map of our office on our contact page. Loading that page contacts Google, and their own privacy policy applies to that request.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile. Checks that a form submission comes from a person and not an automated bot. It runs on some of our forms, and Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that check.

You may ask us for the names of the providers above that are described by category, at any time.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Order, service, and warranty records are kept for as long as we need them to support the work we did for you and to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. Enquiries and quote requests that do not become orders are kept only as long as they are useful for following up. The IP addresses logged for rate limiting are kept briefly and only for that purpose.

How we protect it

Access to customer records is restricted to Josan Toner staff accounts, enforced at the database level rather than only in the application. Staff accounts with access to sensitive records are protected by two-factor authentication. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will act on it and notify you and the National Privacy Commission where the law requires.

Data Protection Officer

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer who oversees how we handle personal information and answers privacy questions and requests.

  • Email. privacy@josantoner.com
  • Mail. Data Protection Officer, Josan Toner Corporation, 35B Midway, Forest Hill Subdivision, Novaliches, Quezon City, 1117 Metro Manila, Philippines

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you have the right to be informed about how your data is processed, to access it, to correct anything inaccurate, to object to processing, to have your data erased or blocked in the circumstances the law allows, to obtain a copy in a portable format, and to seek redress for damage caused by inaccurate or unlawfully obtained data.

To exercise any of these, email our Data Protection Officer at privacy@josantoner.com or call 09473985505. We will need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, so that nobody else can obtain or change your information.

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your concern, you may raise it with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information — including adding any new tracking or analytics tool — we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
